Join Us

Join us from 5-7 at Hawthorne Park for "Pottery in the Park with YAMT".

Rooted in slowing down, building community, and connecting back to your body through the arts, come paint some pottery with us in the park and connect with fellow YAMT members.

Pottery pieces are handmade by members of YAMT's From Wheel to Wellness Program and pieces to paint will range in design from mugs, plates, tiles, to mini bud vases! We look forward to seeing you there.  Registration is required, and new members are welcomed

“From Wheel to Wellness Pottery” Program

From Wheel to Wellness aims to support BIPOC and LGBTQ+ survivors of trafficking, sex workers, and those impacted by the commercial sex industry through the arts.

  • Do you identify as a Person of color or LGBTQ+? (If not, all are welcome to apply)

  • Do you identify as a sex worker, trafficking survivor, or someone impacted by the commercial sex industry?

  • Do you want a space to process trauma symptoms, decrease PTSD symptoms, and increase support from fellow community members through art therapy?

Join us in our 16-week pottery class!

Dates: August 30, 2026 - December 6th, 2026 (Sundays)

2026 Survivor-led Support Groups

We are currently offering the following support groups for survivors throughout the United States.

**All groups are provided virtually (via Zoom) and 100% free; the pottery group is the only group provided in person.

** All groups are open to adults (18+) who identify as domestic trafficking survivors, sex workers, and those impacted by the commercial sex industry.

(i.e. if you are in danger or in need of exiting the commercial sex industry, finding resources for food, shelter, or immediate mental health crisis support - we do not provide these type of services)
