YAMT is so excited to announce our first Annual Pitch Fest!

Thanks to the generous support of Comcast NBC Universal, we are able to provide small business grants to survivor-led and sex worker-led small businesses throughout the country. If you have been impacted by gender based violence or the commercial sex industry and have a small business to pitch, apply below. Deeper consideration will be given to those who are 51% BIPOC-owned or 51% LGBTQ+ owned.

YAMT Pitch Fest will be held LIVE virtually via Zoom on

July 10th from 4:00 - 5:30 pm (EST) / 1:00 - 3:30 pm (PST)

FAQ’S

    • For-profit Small Business is 51% owned by a person of color or LGBTQ+ individual and is a

      • Survivor of trafficking, 

      • sex worker,

      • Gender based violence survivor 

      • Or someone with experience within the commercial sex trade

    • Business is currently registered in the United States 

    • Businesses registered before 2025  

    • Revenue under 25K 

    • Fill out the YAMT Pitch Fest application due on June 27th!

    • Submit a pitch deck (10-page deck max)

    • If you are selected as a semi-finalist, we will reach out to you directly

    • Semi-finalists will be expected to pitch live on July 10th.

    • 5 small business owners will win $2,000 for their small businesses

    • Brand exposure to our corporate sponsors

    • Access to a growing network of YAMT small business owners

    • Optional capacity building and mentorship from YAMT’s Economic Empowerment Team

    • Applications are due by June 27th

  • Pitch Fest will be held on July 10th from 4:00 - 5:30 pm (EST)
