Our practice specializes in working with survivors of trauma and challenging childhood experiences in reconnecting to themselves and developing deep self-compassion. We do this through a variety of therapy modalities, including EMDR, IFS/parts work, art therapy, sand tray therapy, somatic therapy, and more!

How does your practice affirm BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals?

We hold a deep understanding of the ways that experiences of oppression based on racial, cultural, and sexual identity add to and amplify the trauma experienced by survivors of commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking. We work to support clients in connecting to a sense of pride and strength in their racial, cultural, and sexual identities. We strive to be anti-racist providers who are mindful of the ways dynamics of power and privilege influence the therapeutic process and relationship. We are strongly queer-affirming and love supporting folks in exploring and celebrating their individual sexual and gender identity.
